BIO Ever since Ryan was young he dreamed of composing his own music. His passion grew daily as he would watch artists in his dad's recording studio. Artists such as the Osmond’s, Sam Cardon, and many other great musicians stood as an inspiration to him. During high school Ryan made choices that sent him deep into despair.

He got involved with the wrong friends and turned to drugs and alcohol. He soon became an addict and eventually spent time in prison. During those three years there, he was occasionally given access to an old piano. Here he was able to share his music with the other inmates and find solace himself through the keys on the piano.

Despite the often hostile environment he was in, Ryan learned that through much prayer and trust in the Lord he could find peace. Shortly out of prison, opportunities came that he never could have dreamed possible. Ryan was asked to compose an arrangement of “I Am a Child of God” for the “Especially For Youth” 2006 Musical Program. In this song he included an additional melody and lyrics that beautifully expressed his love for the Savior.

The song, entitled “I Am a Child of God/I Have a Savior” will be released on the EFY 2007 album, and used again for the 2007 Musical Program. Ryan has recently released his CD entitled “Breaking Through”. It is an inspiring collection of instrumental songs which reflect his journey and the ultimate breaking through from a life of addiction. It is Ryan’s desire that his music and story might bring a measure of hope to all who listen. Read more on Last.fm.
