The short-lived Clemson, SC band shared several bills with another Clemson group called Sunbrain. In 1991, Sunbrain vocalist David Dondero asked Hallauer to join the band as a guitarist. Shortly thereafter the original guitarist left the band.

Sunbrain went on to record four albums, tour the country and influence many young musicians. By 1996, Sunbrain had disbanded and Hallauer found himself in Athens, GA. He concentrated on Ghostmeat Records, the record label he had created in 1994. He was also a member of the Lures who released albums in 1999 and 2001. In 2008, Hallauer reemerged with music that was drastically different than his work with Sunbrain and the Lures. Songs For The Dark began as a recording project exploring the possibilities of lullabys for Hallauer's children.

The result is a collection of instrumentals that are as intriguing as they are beautiful. Read more on Last.fm. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply..
