Russ Aimz grew up in the same place you did, on this big earth ball, floating around in space. He heard music as a teen and fell in love with it. Russ dreamt of growing up one day and making his own albums. While Meatloaf was the first singer, to ignite Aimz's sheer passion for music, the rock band Blondie was his first love.

The song "Heart of Glass" threw out its hook and caught Russ and reeled him into the sexy melodic world of rock. Other exciting artists came along, such as Billy Idol, Rolling Stones, Fleetwood Mac, Motley Crue and Pink, which only added more fuel to the now flaming rock and roll fire. The time had now come for Russ Aimz to write his own music. Although his first record contains some goodtime up-tempo tunes and even, a cover of "Fleetwood Mac's", "Gypsy”. Russ had quite a few cruisey ballads lying about when it came time to putting together his first album. Hence the debut name "Cruze".

There are a generous amount of downloads, of these album tracks and other songs which you can get at his website for free. Read more on Last.fm. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply..
