In June 2008, Johan S. joined the band for adding more dynamic into the band, and to bring live drums into liveshows. The style of the band is dark ambient with references to industrial acts like Skinny Puppy and COIL. First liveshow was a triple event alongside martial-industrial act Die Weisse Rose (Cold Meat Industy) and the norwegian neo-folk project Gyron V in the hometown Aarhus. Later that year, Royal Tribute To The Kingdom Of Mushroom finished their first selfreleashed demo-cd, named "NEUNZEHN JAHRE". This limited release was only printed in 20 copies, sold at their second concert in Copenhagen, which was a special event, with a market and another band playing that evening (Necro Facility). Royal Tribute To The Kingdom Of Mushroom is currently signed at the danish alternative label khepri records. Read more on Last.fm.
