Roosterhead is a cosmic crew of two; it’s a pair of psychedelic punks on a sonic journey to create exciting, vibrant tunes and open a lot of minds in the process. Roosterhead’s arsenal of songs includes sunny fuzz rockers, deep space epics, funky junkyard freakouts, and high-octane psychedelia, many of which can be heard on their debut EP, Burst Your Bubble. Roosterhead’s members, Shawn Her Many Horses (guitar and vocals) and Luke Johnson (drums and vocals), met while attending college in Rapid City, South Dakota. In 2008, after realizing they couldn’t name any important bands to come out of their home state, they both moved to California and began converting an old house built in the ‘50s into a combination home, recording studio, and rehearsal space. They formed Roosterhead in 2009 to make music their way and to connect with and inspire others who love music as passionately as they do. Read more on Last.fm.
