Roman DORMIDOSHIN was born on the 6th of November 1974 in ancient Russian town Podolsk, near Moscow, but soon at the age of six, his family moved to Moscow where Roman began studying piano and music theory at the Children's School of Music. 1989 Graduated from Moscow Children's School of Music as pianist. His teachers was excellent musicians Alina LARKINA (classical piano) and Larissa BAGDASAROVA (solfeggio and music theory). 1992 Studied courses "Foundations of electronic and computer music" on the basis of the Experimental laboratory for electronic and computer music named after Usachevsky attached to the Union of Composers of Moscow and Russia under Anatoly KISSELEV and Andrey RODIONOV. 1994 Graduated from State College of Music named after Gnesiny with the specialization "Theory of music." He studied music theory and harmony under Boris KOPELEVICH, classical piano under Svetlana DOSADINA, jazz music theory under Aleksei KOLOSOV, and special course in computer music under a composer Anatoly KISSELEV (Vice president of Association for Electroacoustic Music - AEM, Russian department). On graduation from college, he got a job ibidem, and lecture for some time his own course in computer music under the direction of Anatoly KISSELEV. 1995 Roman created unique in Russia educational program of the computer music and arrangement for the children's schools of music, since 1995 he's teaching computer music and arrangement in the Balakirev Children's School of Music and Arts. 1996 Graduated from Courses of Computer Music under Francoise BARRIERE and Christian CLOZIER in GMEB (International Institute of Electroacoustic Music), Bourges, France. 2002 Graduated from Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatoire under a well-known professor of composition Leonid BOBYLEV. He studied also orchestration (under a legendary professor Yuri FORTUNATOV as well as Sergei GOLUBKOV), conduction an orchestra (under a professor Igor SHTEGMAN), classical piano (under a professors Mikhail SOKOLOV and Elena SOKOLOVA), music form (under professor Yury VORONTSOV). While taking classes at Conservatoire, Roman began scoring short low-budget films with titles like The Lover and Anesthesia.

Within a few years, his abilities brought him to the attention of major studios and name directors such as Svetlana DRUZHININA, Boris TOKAREV, and Alexander GORDON.
