Born in Badajoz (Spain), in 1980. Roldán started to play drums in some punk-rock bands in his town, Don Benito. At the same time he started to compose his own songs,very influenced by artists like Sonic Youth, Sebadoh, Leonard Cohen or Harry Nilsson, and with an idea of making Lo-Fi music, mixing some ideas of folk and noise He was recording his experimental material by a broken cassette-recorded, which was useful to make "overdubs" in the same tape. At the year 1998, he became a member of "Lobogay", an experimental rock band who was born in the city of Cuenca (Castilla la Mancha), Were Roldán studied arts and met some friends who created the label "aarecords" ( www.aarecords.net ) First Roldán oficial EP, called "Roldán" was published in AArecords on a limited edition.
