London born Bristol bred, Roland From Poland, aka Tim Taylor, was one half of live electronic dance music innovators Earth Beat Synphonic. Active in the urban and rural free party scene of the late 80s, together with musical partner Jon Pink, they had several vinyl releases on London based Warrior Records that were subsequently broadcast by the late John Peel on BBC Radio1. Active in the urban and rural free party scene of the late 80s, together with musical partner Jon Pink, they had several vinyl releases on London based Warrior Records that were subsequently broadcast by the late John Peel on BBC Radio1. After visiting Poland in 1990, he relocated to Koszalin near the Baltic coast, performing live, DJ-ing, recording sessions for national radio and presenting occasional music programs on local commercial radio. Returning to Bristol via Sweden in 1995, he recorded the album Baltic Beats on the now defunct Mouse (Records) of Bristol in 1998. The track Seatbelts appeared on a Dust2Dust Records compilation CD, High Times. The track Deeper And Longer appeared on a Blue Fusion Records compilation CD. Live performances were given in Bristol at ; The Cube Cinema, QEH Theatre, The Malcom X Centre and The Louisiana. The third album, Patch Of Paradise was released as a download only on the artist's Green Lung Productions label in 2006. In December 2008, recordings of sessions broadcast at Radio Koszalin between 1992-3 were remastered and made available exclusively at last fm.
