In 1989 he bought his first electric guitar and since then he's been playing with a variety of bands from Sao Paulo. He played pop rock hits with the "Banda Equilátera" in bars in Salvador, Bahia, for four years. Back in São Paulo in September 2003, the musician showed the public his acoustic project with influences from Britpop (Coldplay, Travis, Radiohead), International Pop (John Mayer, Jack Johnson, Ben Harper, Damien Rice, Counting Crows, Nick Drake, Tracy Chapman, etc) and Brazilian Pop Rock/MPB (Paulinho Moska, Lenine, Flávio Venturini, etc). *MPB stands for Musica Popular Brasileira, or Popular Brazilian Music Rodrigo Farah was the founder of the band Audiofílicos. Having had quite a number of Dave Matthews Band songs being played in his acoustic project, he had the idea to create the band, looking for each one of the members. In early 2006 he started his Guitar lessons at the Centro de Estudos Musicais Tom Jobim, the Universidade Livre de Música, after years of self learning.
