Deeply fascinated by the west coast American tech-house (the likes of Alvarado and Graham for instance), he starts a research of a different and dancefloor sound, alternative to the one proposed in Turin clubs at the time. In 1999 he start dj-ing in the local scene and in the meantime he starts producing tracks again. Thanks to a demo sporting few (deep) techno tracks, in the 2003 he's selected as new talent in the "Distorsonie" festival in Bologna and had a go at the Elettrowave Festival in Arezzo playing along with the best producers in Italy and Europe. Having avoided the dreadful electro-clash influence, Roberto push his own distinctive sound without compromises.
He..s deep by all means, constantly representing this sounds in many dj set in Turin, Milan, Bologna (at the infamous Street Parade in front of more then 20.000 people), in France and Switzerland (along with Akufen and Popnebo) as well. In the recent years, Roberto Bardini become the musical soul of Arven (www.arvenlab.com) - a red hot streetwear brand of Turin - dj-ing the many promotional events all around Italy.
