Rheinkaos

Rheinkaos was formed, as a project, during the autumn of 2007 by Jim "Boudy" and Nick H. both former members of the rock band Enoxes Skespeis. The concept behind Rheinkaos' initial endeavor was to experiment with ambient and minimal structures while maintaining a heavy metal identity. However during the writing process the material followed a heavier direction hence now the death/black elements are more prominent. Demo recordings and songs of the early days will be released through the band’s official myspace website. Read more on Last.fm

In the initial form of the band Nick was responsible for all vocals, however due to many reason, he was not able to perform in any recordings. Thus Rheinkaos got in contact with Savaoth, the mainman of the band Savaoth, in order to fill this position. Savaoth brought ideas that transformed the material while giving it a darker perspective. With the addition of Ilias in drums and Nick’s repositioning to the bass post Rheinkaos finalized their line-up. In August 2008 the first demo release, including 3 songs, was made available, while it was greatly received by listeners around the world. In August 2009, Rheinkaos hit the Fragile Studio (with V.Yalamas as the producer) to record their first release.

The tracks are being currently mixed by Rheinkaos while mastered by Njal Frode Lie. Read more on Last.fm. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply..
