This page is playing music by two very different bands. "Sun Dried For Scotty" and "Lift Music" are by a Rebus that is sadly no longer in existence. From an unreleased album called Arima on Unlabel, which I believe is based in Tunbridge Wells. The other Rebus (2005 - 2007) were an artrock quartet from Reading, UK, who supported Ordinary Boys, The Infadels, Bloc Party & The Rapture amongst others, who picked up regular airplay on BBC Radio 1, 6Music and XFM amongst others, with supporters including Steve Lamacq, Bloc Party (Alex Rebus is personally thanked in their debut album sleeve), The Cooper Temple Clause, DrownedInSound, XFMs John Kennedy & The Sun newspaper. 'Work Song' was featured on the soundtrack for Vodafone's 3G service and national advertising campaign. The same song was also a featured download on DrownedinSound.com. Releases: Daylight Fading (single, 2005) The Red EP (EP, 2006) This City (single, 2007) Rebus is also a DJ and Producer from Eindhoven, the Netherlands. Together with Dyzz he forms "The Illuminated Collective" bringing the latest and greatest bass music to lots of hot parties around the Netherlands.
