The vibrations of music were present from childhood and although being influenced by various styles, reggae was the destiny of Alvaro Olivares. He became know as Rebel-I at the age of 21 and continued on the path of making his disc debut with Inna Riddim Style. Rebel-I is a multi-talented singer, singjay, songwriter, and compositor from Lima, Peru. He has had an active participation in the Peruvian reggae scene since 2003 having an important participation as a singer and writer in bands like Mulla wisA. Read more on Last.fm

Rebel-I is a multi-talented singer, singjay, songwriter, and compositor from Lima, Peru. He has had an active participation in the Peruvian reggae scene since 2003 having an important participation as a singer and writer in bands like Mulla wisA. In 2006 Rebel-I decided to leave his country and move to Argentina; there he gets up to his present band, Uniendo Raíces. Inna Riddim Style is his debut album, was recorded in the Tonic Study in Buenos Aires, directed by Fernando Perez Cortez, sound engineer of Mensajeros Reggae and Riddim; both of them are representative bands in the Argentine reggae scene. This album counts with the participation of Negus Shabaka, an artist from St.

Croix, to whom Rebel-I shares an american R&B song titled You Are. In addition it counts with the participation of Edwin, singer of the Panamanian band Pureza Natural, in the Revolution song, besides of counting with the participation of Kaia and Tsunami Ossua, Colombian reggae artists, in the song called Solution. Inna Riddim Style is a disc where we will be able to find a modern sound and a universal message of peace, love and unity.
