Rebecca Yemm is a 16 year old Singer/Songwriter from a town called Mansfield in the North Of England. Being interested in music since a young child, the thought of doing it as a career has always been a big hope for her. She started singing at the tender age of three when she would take all of her Father's Beatles CD's into the back room of her house and sing along to them for hours and hours. At the age of 11, she began to play guitar and since then has taught others the skill.

At the age of just 13 started writing her own songs, including titles such as, 'All Of The Above,' 'In The Crowds,' and 'The Weller Effect,' written on a personal experience at a Paul Weller concert. Being influenced highly on classic rock bands of the 60s she began learning tunes such as 'Oh Darling,' by The Beatles. Since then, she has become an avid folk fan, and is learning many song-writing techniques from Conor Oberst of the Indie/Folk band 'Bright Eyes' and the ever-famous Johnny Cash. Please enjoy her music and pass the word on to your friends and families :) Read more on Last.fm.
