Extreme weirdness and alienation experiment from NJ based ex-members of a no name punk band called Danny Levitz And The Mach 7 Trio. Matthew "m@ the c@" Morden and Harry Lipner created the project mostly as the result of a very peculiar sense of humor. Extreme weirdness and alienation experiment from NJ based ex-members of a no name punk band called Danny Levitz And The Mach 7 Trio. Matthew "m@ the c@" Morden and Harry Lipner created the project mostly as the result of a very peculiar sense of humor. The songs were recorded mostly using the built in mic on an eMac and a cheap dynamic mic, utilizing their voices, a Korg X2, a bass, a guitar, soft-synths, and whatever items were sitting on the desk in front of them at the time. Some songs featured random friends of the duo, and many songs were recorded that didn't even feature Harry, but the group was always considered to strictly be a two man project. The group recorded two albums in their one year life span: The first was titled "The First Strike Of The Salamander Overlord EP", which was followed by "The Second Wave Of Circumstantial Evidence That I Love Cats". There are also a collection of songs that saw no official release. The group gained notoriety locally, despite never selling or distributing any CDs (except for one lone CD-R that circulated their high school) and never playing any shows, as well as garnering the attention of SoundClick users, putting them in the top 20 most downloaded artists of the experimental noise category near the end of 2004.
