Their music has been compared to Pond, David Bowie, Jarvis Cocker, even Early Split Enz and New Zealand's own Dunedin sound of the 80s. Radius Kink is unique in having non-performing writing and production members and also live performance members. Their live shows are reminiscent of the ‘Old School’, live performances of Patty Smith, Joan Jett and Janis Joplin with Gary's daughter, Dawn Hendrikse taking centre stage. The performing members of Radius Kink, Gary Hendrikse, Dawn Hendrikse, Tim Busby and Steve Kirkeby are all based in Christchurch, New Zealand. They play at various live music venues such as The Wunderbar, The Darkroom, Alvarados, Sullivans and The Space Academy. Read more on Last.fm.
