Soon enough her new found love and talent lead to new found success in her homey Michigan town of Plymouth. Pursuing exposure and independence, in 2006 she headed to The Windy City to form what would become the likes of Rachele Eve. The Chicago based band now consists of Rachele Eve (vocals, acoustic guitar); Nikolai Giefer (drums, percussion); Packy Lundholm (electric guitar); Kate Drown (clarinet); and Nick Miller (bass). Rachele has so far released 2 Ep's and currently has gotten much praise for her latest and first full length album "Mouth of Feathers." Completely independently produced, the album has distinct and unabridged instrumentation with aspects of a modern rock coupled with vintage jazz, colored with distorted guitars, toy piano, an accordion cameo, Wurlitzer, Hammond B-3 organ, clarinet, and cello. It's brave in parts and meek in others, bringing about the entire spectrum of human emotion.
