Described as “sweet and heartfelt”, “inspired and inspiring”, this artist who calls The Blue Mountains (west of Sydney) home is joined by long time collaborator and guitarist Nigel Kerr, the two delivering an intimate and diverse collection of acoustic tunes that draw on the best of folk, blues, country and contemporary popular music. With a truly remarkable voice and a grab bag of charming songs that range in subject matter from the deeply personal to the reassuringly universal, Brady is, in a world of over-produced commercial music; honest, real, perceptive and engaging. Shunning the offer of a generous 2007 record deal with a small Australian indie label, Brady and Kerr instead opted for a more autonomous approach to their music and have to date entirely self funded three full albums; "Peace by Peace" released in 2006 and "Somewhere Sunshine" released in 2008, were both recorded in Brisbane's West End with producer Paulie B at the helm, bass player for award winning OZ bands "george" and more recently, "The Beautiful Girls". Their 3rd album, "In Case of Falling" (May 2013) was financed by their fan-base via the crowdfunding platform "Pozible.com" and recorded in the picturesque Blue Mountains, west of Sydney. Brady and Kerr are “guaranteed to give a memorable and always uplifting performance - not just because she has a truly phenomenal voice but also because her music has genuine depth, beauty and intelligence." (Cygnet Folk Festival, Tasmania) In 2007 they contributed a previously un-released track to the Brisbane based songwriters charity collective cd "The Hopesmiths Project" appearing alongside other indie luminaries such as Tyrone Noonan, Bobby Flynn, Jackie Marshall, Chris Pickering, Danny Widdicombe, Tom Cooney and others.
