1) Rolly Teranishi (ローリー 寺西) is a Japanese musician and music producer. He is also known by the names of Rolly and Kazuo Teranishi. He was born September 6, 1963 in Kyoto and he grew up in Takatsuki-shi, Osaka, Japan. He is well recognized as the lead guitarist and vocalist of the Japanese rock band, すかんち (aka Scanch). He was born September 6, 1963 in Kyoto and he grew up in Takatsuki-shi, Osaka, Japan. He is well recognized as the lead guitarist and vocalist of the Japanese rock band, すかんち (aka Scanch). Once Scanch broke up, Rolly pursued his solo musical career and acting. Rolly is often discovered by non-Japanese-speaking people by his role as Genesis in the Japanese thriller 自殺サークル (Suicide Circle/Suicide Club) released in 2002. He is in the movies Iden & Tity, Swallowtail & Get It On?. He also makes an apperance as "Yaha" in the Playstation 2 game "Drag-on Dragoon 2: Fuin no kurenai, haitoku no kuro" Rolly is a fan of Tim Burton and his works as a movie director; he owns a costume of his favorite Tim Burton character, Jack Skellington from The Nightmare Before Christmas. Being a big fan of The Rocky Horror Picture Show, he has made several appearances in the stage performances in Japan as Dr.

Frank-N-Furter. Other stage performances include the role of Captain Hook in Peter Pan and the Fox and the Conceited Man in Le Petit Prince. This year, 2006, was the 15th-year anniversary of the start of Rolly's debut with Scanch. All the members of Scanch reunited for two concerts that occurred on March 10 and March 17. Rolly was taking part in a TV show called Rock Fujiyama alongside Marty Friedman, ex lead guitarist of the thrash metal band, Megadeth.

Rolly also appears in his own television show "Rolly Kingdom" every two weeks, and also co-hosts "KKTV", a family show that airs every Friday night. Now, he is currently on tour in the fisrt japanese production of "TOMMY", playing at least three different roles.
