He composed his first song, Save Us, in highschool and enrolled his brother and best friend into his dream. The three of them formed the band that is now Lights In Lost Skies, adding drums and guitar to his first composition. The world saw a different side of Quentin Fielding the first night they performed; those in presence would tell you it was magical and undeniably captivating. in 2006, Quentin produced his first piano and scoring album. It was during this creative period that he drafted the songs Silver Field and The Ghost Composer.
He did this in excess of his responsibilities as a lead band member and made the decision, that year, that he would always have a place in his heart and a drive in his blood to pursue both. After graduating from college with a degree in liberal arts with a focus on music production, Quentin began working on his musical endeavors full time. In 2008 Quentin was recruited by Ten Phoenix Productions to both star in and score the independent film, Aiden Black. Since then he has composed the music for several commercials, in one of which he again had the lead role.
By the Fall of 2009, the three young men had recorded and released their first album, No Love. Quentin simultaneously worked on the production of his first piano album for public sale. The album takes the name of one of his first few compositions, The Ghost Composer. Quentin describes his first, purely instrumental, piano album as "a ride through the journey of life." As one listens to the songs there is a evident exploration of human emotion, inquiry, and reflection. Listening becomes more than just hearing as the mind follows the music to places of the past, present, and future.
"Perhaps it is better described," he soon after corrects "as a journey inside one's self." Read more on Last.fm. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply..
