Upon realising his dream of becoming a professional singer, he returned to Vietnam in 2000. He signed with Kim Loi Studio and his first album, Những Ngày Xưa Yêu Dấu, was released in 2001. When his contract with Kim Loi Studio expired in 2003, Quang Vinh decided to change his music style and public image. His 4th album, Tình Yêu Tìm Thấy, earned him various prestigious music awards as the upcoming artist in 2003. His first live concert Tình Yêu Tìm Thấy in Hanoi was a success with more than 10,000 fans attending. In 2006, Quang Vinh became the first Vietnamese artist to release a photo book.
