PuuP, also known as "PwP" (P-double-u-P, Plants without Photosynthesis), were founded in 2004 by drumer Teppich (Toralph O'Connor), leadguitar-player Felix Gold, rythmguitarist Geck (Jack Afif Sala) and bassist Matschi (Radu Kov) at Lower-Saxonies Brunswiek. Their style of music can be described as a mixture of punkrock, hardcore and covers - all resulting in total trash. Soon after foundation guitarist Geck abruptly left the band, replaced by Gold's girlfriend Mylie as main vocalist. During 2004 PuuP covered several songs by Weezer, System of a Down, L.A.W. etc.. In addition they also invented some own songs called "Nr.1", "Scream", "Uri Geller wir danken dir" playing in their band practice room - a psychiatric therapyroom. PuuP cooperated with musicians like Green Day's and Blink182's bungreaser Sala and his brother, trompete-genious Yalla. After a dispute with the instrumentalists, singer Mylie was forced to leave the band without any replacement in early 2005. Shortly after this incident PuuP split up.

Drumer Teppich went to Australia. Felix Gold became a professional Billards-player and bassist Matschi went on playing bass at the classic-rock-coverband Oliver-Oliver-Oliver and working in a community service. Although demoralised by heavy drug abusement Felix Gold and Matschi started a new project, covering Emo-songs with girl-drumer Mareike, leadsinger Strandelse and leadguitar Cordula in 2006. Without any success. In spring 2006 Teppich returned from Australia. The reunion came, but PuuP could not find any nonrasist leadsinger, so they decided to move to Dresden and follow the path of the legendary Beatles...
