Return of the Wanderer , the band's first recording with vocals, was released in 1998 and received a Juno Award nomination in 1999 for Best Roots & Traditional Album: Group. Their 1996 debut recording Bach Meets Cape Breton won an East Coast Music Award in 1997 for Best Classical Album, and was nominated for two others including Album of the Year. Puirt a Baroque's recordings are on the Marquis Classics label.

They are distributed in Canada by EMI and in the United States by Allegro.
