Public Relations Exercise were a Leicester-based 5 piece. In their short history they tourned extensivley and managed several releases. P.R.E's music was described as 'an intelligent mix of Post hardcore Math rock and Screamo. Musically based around inventive rhythms and discordant guitars, layered with penetrative vocals and lyrics'. The band's music was likened to At The Drive-in and The Blood Brothers to name but a few. Their career peaked in 2007 with the release of their only full length album Come you are safe, we are from the bombs which was released by Field Records. The record gained positive reviews and noteriety and the single 'Catalyst' was released later than year, again receiving praise in national press.
