Polaroid 1. Polaroid is spanish (or Español) for "Polaroid". The name "Polaroid" originates from two words that described a preceding relationship with one of the associates of Polaroid. This member dated a gentlewoman that had been diagnosed with a "bipolar disorder" (manic-depressive illness).

The particular Polaroid associate endured the illness for months feeling like a robot and/or "droid", in a sense. The Polaroid colleague finally took the words bi-polar and incorporated the word droid and subsequently resulted with this concept we call: "Polaroid". We have no affiliations with the camera/electronics company. An interfusion of profound-caliginous-indie/rock mix out of Northeast Florida. The EP "inside and out" made occurrence down the World Wide Web-super highway in september of 2006.

Formed in November 2005, Polaroid escaped the garage and met the stages and studios in early 2006. Since then, Polaroid has been blossoming and developing a title for themselves not to mention collecting kudos from thousands of kids worldwide, and selling their personal belongings to make it from state to state. Polaroid plans to release a brand-new, highly anticipated, seven-track Cd titled "..Then, I Turned Back Home" (cd art above). With all new fresh songs and an all new fresh attitude.

2. Post-Punk /New Wave band from Torino (Piemonte, Italy). Not so much informations about the band. The first formation was: Marcello Zavatto (vocals and guitar), Evandro Fornasier (guitar), Claudio Vagnarelli (synths) and Massimo Vagnarelli (bass, percussions, programming drum machine). They start to play in the first half of the 80’s and arrives to produce their first demo (Senza Respiro) in 1984.

In 1985 the band starts a collaboration with Michele Blundo like new vocalist and produces another demo live in 1986. A sound very interesting, a really enjoyable post-punk mixed with a dark synthpop. The band is came back to new honours grace to the compilation ‘Crollo Nervoso’ (Spittle Records label) produced in 2009 with their fantastic song ‘Vita Immaginaria’ into. A sort of tribute to this underrated band, very appreciated in the short underground period of activity. Discography: 1984, ‘Senza Respiro’ (Demo-Tape) 1986, ‘Demo Live’ (Live in Studio) 2009, ‘Crollo Nervoso’ (Cd compilation produced by Spittle Records, song ‘Vita Immaginaria’) Read more on Last.fm.
