starting with Juggernaut and then Battle Arising (from F.T.G.) following, and then Escape (T.O.O.T.) and so on for all 7 tracks of F.T.G. Released in 2012, Back to Dust, the continuation of t.o.o.t (the Order of Things). In this album PoPpEdCoRn moves further away from his chip tune roots. His inspiration for Back to Dust is, in a way, make the Order of Things longer. The idea is that from album to album, each track would be able to flow into each other.
His vision is that each album will stand alone like t.o.o.t but also would be able to be played side by side with any other album in the series and the music would remain seamless. Completed on the side of "btd" PoPpEdCoRn produced Elements, an album with a unique vision. He attempts to create a new style of music that has very little consistent tempo or measure. "btd" also features similar sounds in various songs through the album. in the future he plans on continuing to develop this style.
In 2010 PoPpEdCoRn evolved into a hypnotic progressive electro sound with an obvious hip hop percussion influence. His creation "the Order of Things" is a fluid blend of many cultural influences and is the first album to feature vocals. the tracks are seamless and the last track flows back into the first, , making it a musical circle, PoPpEdCoRn is an experimental electronica artist from Milwaukee WI, started in 2008. the music is created by Spencer Sperry (singer song-writer from indie band Heir Of Dei).
He first made simple remixes of H.O.D. songs, just for fun. now he has expanded into more experimental sounds. In 2009 he was most inspired by 8-bit and bit-trip (game).
most of the music was created by distorted guitar feedback and looped vocal tracks. Read more on Last.fm. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply..
