Plurals are active on the UK experimental circuit and have just completed a UK tour with Aidan Baker and Nadja - a mid-tour Latitudes Session was recorded at Southern Studios and will be released as a collaboration with Aidan in April 2012. "After a short interval, five-man band Plurals set up a mess of effect boxes, guitars, keyboards and random electronic devices in front of big guitar cabinets and, sitting on the floor, started playing very quietly, each musician facing his respective amp. Layers of foreboding guitar swells, walkie-talkie beepings, droning synthetic textures, ghost echoes and far away human cries formed an ominous soundscape slowly expanding towards darker territories as more and more elements were incorporated to conjure Lynchean atmospheres in a subdued and controlled way. Half-way thought the set though, things became louder and noisier, human cries sounding suddenly closer, guitars furiously articulating short melodic motifs and two-chord changes modulating the mood, before an assault of feedback and sonic garbage finished things off, making sure that no one left alive" - Pascal Savy live review, Cafe Oto, October 12th 2011 Discography (some free from here) : Bugenes Melissae (12" / 2014 / Oaken Palace) You Are Aborting (CDr / 2013 / RHP CDrs) Gland Extraction (CDr / 2013 / Sheepscar Light Industrial) Glass Crocodile Medicine (12"CD / 2013 / Southern Records) Debasement (CDr / 2012 / Tor Press) Imagining Perpetual Tower (12" / 2011 / Dead Pilot Records) Cult Demonstrations (CDr / 2011 / self-release) Six Eyes (CDr / 2010 / Striate Cortex) Split (with Tuluum Shimmering) (CDr / 2010 / Dead Pilot Records) Split (with Timothy C Holehouse) (tape / 2009 / self-release) Half Reality (CDr / 2009 / Dead Sea Liner) Palpitation / Pumping Soil (CDr / 2008 / self-release Read more on Last.fm.
