Formed in 2006 , started playing covers but quickly got bored and now play exclusively original material - tunes (by Mike) and songs (mainly by Greg). Based in the Scottish Highlands the material is inspired by everyday 21st century life in the Highlands. It reflects cheery themes such as as drug addiction, alcoholism and the disintergration of communities. Not a hint of tartan or a taste of shortbread here! Greg started out playing some 20 years ago and bands have included Celtic or Bust (1988/89), Uisge Beatha (1989-93), Watershed (less said the better!), Borrovan (1995-98) as well as performing solo (Gregor Fullarton, Away to Folk 1999) and with Fergus Weir for more years than either care to remember! Mike has been perfoming for even longer, starting out on the guitar and more recently progressing to fiddle and latterly mandolin where he has found his musical home.

He's switched bases from Canada to England to Canada and has now seen sense and come to Scotland. He has had a long illustrious musical career over the years and is now recognized as an innovative and talented mandolin player. Read more on Last.fm.
