He stopped playing and producing electro alltogether and cranked out some floorfiller trance tracks.In 1999 Wim started collaborating with co-worker Robbie Deighton.Robbie had always been intrigued by elements of different electronic styles, and that probably moulded the now so recognisable Phase2 sound. After a trip to Ibiza they ended up in the famous Bora Bora bar and were confronted with funky house music for the first time.They where hooked instantly. Again the productions changedand leads to a smooth and uplifting crossover between House en Trance. The last few years Phase2 became a well known name in the underground scene.
Also the remix requests were starting to have an influence on the genres that were created. So in 2004Lounge music was added to the Phase2 portfolio.They are now being dubbed as the ?Chameleons? of dancemusic.Phase2 is and stays energetic entertainment.
