Pete Kronowitt is an independent music artist who has three albums: - phases of the heart/1995 - threads/2003 - elements/2005 Pete Kronowitt has 20 years of playing gigs at clubs, coffee houses and benefits and 3 professionally produced albums to his credit. Pete’s songs have a universal appeal covering themes from family to societal struggles, spanning the emotive fused with acoustic pop to indie folk and mingled with a squall. The end result spans relationships we all experience and the issues in between. Pete's 3rd album, "elements," is comprised of 12 songs spanning the full spectrum of relationships. From the first tug of the heart string to the first salvo of war to saying goodbye in a style best suited for today’s reality TV. “Now It’s We” a wedding song, built upon a lyrical foundation of trust, respect and friendship, is the centerpiece of “elements.” Each song on “elements” represents its own story, yet the complete collection of songs creates an interwoven narrative of family, friends, emotion, and personal perspectives of societal struggles. Pete’s revamped website, www.petekronowitt.com, provides a framework to link this narrative into song, video and background on the motivations for writing some of these songs. In September 2009, Pete went abroad for his first tour of Asia traveling to China, Japan, and Vietnam.

Pete toured with long-time collaborator and friend, bassist John Coppola. John has over 30 years of experience, playing thousands of gigs and spent two-years on an international tour playing over 300 shows with The Danny Morris Band. John was also was integral playing upright bass on Pete’s first CD, “Phases of the Heart”. Playing percussion and drums on the tour was Elliot Hasiuk in Japan and Zac Courtney in China.

Pete’s first album was produced by John Alagia and recorded at Rutabaga Studios. John is best known for his production credits for the Dave Matthews Band, Jon Mayer, and Ben Folds Five. “Phases of the Heart” has ten fully produced songs which range from ‘acoustic popgressive’ to slow and earnest ballads.
