Penis Goes Where?

Penis Goes Where? Is a small-time punk band based in and around Salford, England. The band formed in late 2006 when Scott Thompson (Guitarist), Ricky Marczak (vocalist), and Rich Hough (Bassist) moved into the same student house in Salford upon starting university therein. Being amazed at the similarities in each other's musical tastes and talents (talents = zero), the three decided to start a band; although Ricky was the bassist and Rich the vocalist at this time. It took a full year to finally settle on a permanent (and fairly inoffensive) name for the band, then, having switched the two Ricks and managing to compose two songs, they became truly serious and composed about half of their current material. Cut to January 2009; Rich is having a polite conversation with a man outside a club - Ricky calls him a t***, a c*** and a less than average lover several times. One taxi ride later and they have a drummer! Mathew Wade. The completed band managed to perform at a number of Manchester and Salford venues until the fall of 2009 when Mathew had to unfortunately move back to his home county of Yorkshire. At the time of writing, Penis Goes Where? has played a handful of gigs in Manchester, mostly supporting larger bands at TNS (That's Not Skanking Records) band-nights, where they have gone down fairly well and had great fun.

This wouldn't have been possible without the help of their friend and super-drummer-extraordinaire, Nik Kozubik - who tries to help the band when his unbelievably busy schedule allows. The band were struggling to find a more permanent drummer for quite some time until they discovered Joel Pollard, who has a similar passion for punk music, fun times, and being a drunken wreck. At the time of writing, they're expecting an E.P. release this summer of 2011. Read more on Last.fm.
