At high school, Peter teamed up with keyboarder Ádám Lőrincz with whom he put together a series of compositions, of which the track Pink Spirit received regular airplay at Budapest’s leading smooth-jazz/lounge radio station 90.9 Jazzy. While working on their first album in 2009, they were joined by seasoned saxophone player and jazz educator Marci Mits and took up the band name “Peet Project”. The first joint effort of Peter and Marci, a powerful instrumental jazz-funk track titled Be Free could not possibly take a better start: It won the grand prize of 90.9 Jazzy radio’s 2009 song contest and has been approved for heavy rotation immediately. The song will be label Beagle Beat Records on the band’s first EP, Pink spirit, due out on January 26, 2010.
