Peach Cobbler was a transatlantic collaboration between New York-based Sue Garner and Rick Brown (both of Run On and Fish & Roses) and the French duo of Dominique Grimaud and Monique Alba (both of Video Aventures), which resulted in the 1995 album Georgia Peach on the Ajax label of Chicago. It was a subdued, fragmented approximation of delta blues - including takes on songs by Blind Blake, Skip James, Reverend Gary Davis, Robert Johnson and others - flecked with 'concrète' elements in the form of found vocal bits and tape manipulation Read more on Last.fm
