Her voice is sultry and charismatic, her songs are heartfelt, sincere and accessible.Now living part of the year in Barcelona Spain, she has collaborated with flamenco artist Martirio for an English version of traditional Coplas. Paul was formerly married to singer/guitarist Eric McFadden with whom she performed with in groups over several years, including the band Liar. The two, since divorcing in 2001, reunited in 2007 to back up Eric Burdon as members of The Animals. She has also drawn from her experience touring and/or recording with Pat MacDonald (Timbuk 3), George Clinton(p-funk), Syd Straw, Marlee Macleod, Dave Schools (Widespread Panic)and many members of the Athens Georgia music scene.

Now living part of the year in Barcelona Spain, she has collaborated with flamenco artist Martirio for an English version of traditional Coplas.Paula has now formed the band Paula O'Rourke and the Dangers in Barcelona with two Venezuelan musicians, Aleph Aquiar on guitar and Mato Vilar on drums.
