he picked the guitar at about the age of 12. He didn't get his first guitar until he was about 14 when his mom took him to a music store before seeing his mom's favorite band "The Moody Blues" in middle school he had dreams of becoming a rock star, and even joined chorus in support of that dream, with the idea that in case he didn't do well with a guitar, he could always be the lead singer of a band. he started writing poems/songs when he was about 13 years old, and started out originally rewriting words to his favorite songs to make new ones. He liked to rewrite 311 songs the most because, at the time, that was his favorite band.
He even had his own mock radio show along with his friend Derek. the theme song being a rewritten version of 311's "All Mixed Up" from there he kept writing and even got recognized a little bit for it, but not by his poems, but his short stories/essays he had to write for the florida writes test. His 8th grade teacher had given him a certificate of appreciation and his own journal to write his thoughts in. Paul's plans for right now are to go to Full Sail for audio recording and music business and hopes to one day, start his own indie record label.
