After leaving the band in 2006 Paul concentrated on recording and playing live with his group Soulsec as well as various other projects.
The Stranglers continued with guitarist/singer Baz Warne who has been with them since 2000 and has also performed with Paul as a duo in 2003/2004. In the spring of 2009 Paul did a succesfull tour of the USA where he will return in september 2010. Since 2009 Paul has also been involved in various musical shows and tours singing the legendary rat pack songs of the forties and fifties which is a style he has made his own very impressively. 2.
