Vlady Cnejevici was considered to be the most talented keyboard player in Romania. And last, but not least, Florian Pittiş, a talented actor, acknowledged for his unique voice and his involvement in the cultural scene. Pasărea Colibri was an instant recipe for success, touring Romania and releasing three album before the first breakup. In 2000, Florian Pittiş left the band and was replaced by Marius Baţu, ex-member of Poesis and a long time partner of Holograf. In the new formula, Pasărea Colibri launched a new studio album, "Încă 2000 de ani" ("Another 2000 years"), with some commercial success. After 2001, Pasărea Colibri started to get a lower profile, especially after Mircea Vintilă left the band.

The band released very few original songs, instead concentrating on the songs previously written and performed by each of its members, since all of them had important carreers behind them.
Nevertheless, the few original songs they recorded were considered to be of a very high level. Their last studio album, "Încă 2000 de ani" featured a number of new songs, and their last album ("10 Ani" / "10 years") also featured a new song ("Ulysse"). Read more on Last.fm.
