Partly Faithful

Partly Faithful are a spiky art rock band from London whose sound has been described as a cross between Bauhaus, Smashing Pumpkins and Grinderman. They've been preaching their unique version of tight musicianship and onstage mayhem since 2011 with live shows earning them a reputation as a must-see act and a burgeoning fan base. Their debut album 'Lazarus Under Glass' was released in April 2013 and they're currently working on new material for their third EP. Members: Ed Banshee (Screaming Banshee Aircrew) Anouska Haze (Rubella/Exotica) Christopher Blake (S.O.N.Y./Dr Vampire/Sly Persuaders) History: They were formed in 2011 by Gemma Thompson (Hindley/Savages) Ed Banshee (Screaming Banshee Aircrew) and Christopher Brown (Somewhere Outside New York/Dr Vampire) and recruited drummer Belle Star (Nosferatu, Lillygun) with the aim to create neo-noir anthems that seamlessly blended the past with the present.

Their debut self-titled EP sold out within a few months and after a string of live shows around the UK, including support slots with O.Children, The Chapman Family and Cold In Berlin, they were invited to open Artrocker's New Blood festival in January and to perform at the Horrors official afterparty in London. Gemma left the band earlier in the year to concentrate on her work with Savages. The band's second EP 'The Beehive' is the final recording featuring her guitar. Over the summer of 2012, Partly Faithful worked with Murray 'Muzz' Fenton from seminal post-punk band Artery as well as former members of Christian Death and Fields Of The Nephilim before recruiting their new full-time guitarist Anouska Haze. Anouska is probably best known as the frontwoman of all-girl punk trio Rubella and indie rockers Exotica.

Partly Faithful released their debut album, "Lazarus Under Glass" in April 2013. Their live shows are a hypnotic blend of music and theatre that are unlike anything you've ever seen before.
