Paranoid Android nennen ihre Musik selber Future-New-Wave-Rock, da sie eine Verbindung von Gitarren mit einem elektronischen Klanggerüst in Form von elektronischen Drumbeats und Synthies darstellt. Die Hauptinspirationsquellen stellen Bands wie Depeche Mode, The Cure, New Order, Jimi Hendrix und diverse Elektronik-Acts dar. Das Projekt wurde 2009 als das Folgeprojekt der Band „GENTIC VORTEX“ von Guido Vortex gegründet. Im Oktober 2010 wird das aktuelle Studioalbum „Paper God“ auf Fictive Records erscheinen.
