PagesEND was formed by Alex and Aaron in 2005, with the recording of Nitetime back in 2006, the duo struggled to find a suitable drummer for a while, so they had to settle for programmed drums on live performances. These performances didn't bring the full dynamic of the sound. In mid 2007 after the release of the first album the band found a drummer whos experience stretched back over 12 years. The band finally reaped the fruit of the full dynamic of a live sound. Chris' ability to out play the drum machine had given a new direction to PagesEND sound.

At the same time the band recruited Ben to play bass, who possessed excellent bass line skills, however his contribution ended in a departure of PGE in 2008 to pursue other music projects. By this time the band had a solid set of songs and constantly writing new material. The arrival of Alex's sister Daria as the second guitarist was unexpected because she was very young. Despite the massive age difference, her guitar skills had surpassed the expectations of a typical beginer with shredding and solo ability.

In 2009 Henry stepped in the bass player shoes, being a 100% metal head, with his immense commitment and talent the band could only get better. This new and exciting line up haven't had the opportunity to showcase the new material at first, because of the diversity of age and back round meant that the band had turn down a lot of gig offers due to either education, work or general commitments. Only scoring 8 gigs in 2009 brings the band into 2010 where more and more doors are opening to live bands, this will result in a bigger exposure. The sound of PagesEND derives from many different places.

Russia, Lithuania, England, Barbados all meeting in East London,UK. There's is a very large emphasis on rhythm, use of odd time signatures and atmospheric dynamics to represent the impermanence of life which is partly what the name of the band means. It attempts to present brutal metal grooves over ambient expanses, simplistic melodic sound scape. The awareness of both extreme anger and blissful peace seeks to find the middle ground for survival of impermanence in our everyday life.

We cannot embrace life on one extreme or the other to find our answers we have accept all possibilities. PagesEND can be classed as ambient/hardcore/metal but its influences are very broad and over time will find new and unexpected sounds reaching the ears of their listeners. Read more on Last.fm.
