P P Dog

Born in Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire. He had wanted to be a musician somehow for as long as he could remember, idling his way through a rather chequered childhood. Ended up in Newtown, Mid Wales playing in various incarnations, eventually playing in the much missed(maybe before their time) local experimental dance funk trio, Call It A Clunes! In 2005 he moved to Nottingham with a few sketches of what would be future songs, starting writing for a project which sadly didn't come to fruition. Realising that he had written enough songs that he liked,(most of which ended up on Sherbrooke Business) decided to pursue it further and thus the moniker of P.P Dog was born.(not actually inspired by gangsta rap, but literally as a tribute to his dog Jasper who had recently passed on, who whilst being taken for walks would attempt to mark his territory on every passing lampost) In Winter 2006 he reverted back to being a native Gardenian where he has continued to write and evolve. Aside fron P.P Dog. He also plays in noisecore project - The Pirates Of Prouse.

Is one half of experimental drum/voice duo - Kettle Blacksmith. Has just started promoting gigs in the Welwyn Hatfield area under the guise of Tea & Biscuits presents..named after a radio show he co-hosted at the University of Hertfordshire which ended in April, this year. He has also collaborated with Strap The Button, The Good Anna, and The Exploits of Elaine. Read more on Last.fm.
