The man behind Opsis is young man called Panayotis Pateronis. Born in Greece he lived his early years in Athens, where he started being involved with art in various ways of expression. He joined a punk rock band playing guitar but frustrated by the lack of enthusiasm from the rest of the group, and the stiffness of the music itself, he decided to make his own electronic sound. First years passed through experimenting and searching, ending in the music style called Opsis.

The idea of this project is based on re-inventing the club music spectrum, with less of the rules that make it so predictable and with out character, but at the same time follow some fundamentals that man has established as the base of music. Percussions and bass! Those are taken and transformed, ending up as massive as possible, causing earthquakes to the ears of the listener. The continuing purpose of Opsis is to bring electronic sound one step further and to explore new ways of producing. Since he came into the scene, the Opsis live has brought a unique tone to parties and live concerts from Europe to Asia, giving fans of extreme music guaranteed pleasure. Discography: On cd compilations: Pass of the season (Spirit Zone Records) Mid Air (ZMA Records) 2ooo Hands Rmx (ZMA Records) Miss Adventure (Loopsnoo Records) A floating feeling (Loopsnoo Records) Essential (Moonflower Records) Albums: Time Means Nothing (ZMA Records) The Man and the Machine (Headstick Records) Read more on Last.fm.
