a side project of Dandy Warhols frontman Courtney Taylor-Taylor based on a graphic novel titled One Model Nation (Titan Books) being released with on 31 January 2012 (The End Records). According to co-collaborator DONOVAN LEITCH they were: INSPIRED BY KRAFTWERK, CAN, DAVID BOWIE, TANGERINE DREAM, YELLOW MAGIC ORCHESTRA, KLAUS NOMI, JOBRIATH, AND OTHER ESOTERIC GLAM AND KRAUT ROCK, WE GOT TOGETHER FOR THREE SLEEPLESS NIGHTS AND, ALONG WITH JON FELL AND ELLIOTT BARNES, CREATED THE TECHNO/INDUSTRIAL POP GROUP ONE MODEL NATION. OUR INSPIRATION WAS COURTNEY'S VISION OF CREATING A BAND THAT WE COULD SLIP INTO AND DISAPPEAR OFF INTO A LONG FORGOTTEN ERA THAT INSPIRED SO MUCH OF TODAY'S MUSIC. Read more on Last.fm.
