The band has shared stage with artists such as Molotov, Juanes, Aterciopelados, Caramelos de Cianuro and others. They have released several singles, promotional videos and a full-length album called "6101", published in 2008 independently. On 2009 the band released the video single for the song "Atravesando" being a promotional release for their upcoming full-length album "Blister", an album that naver came to be and remained unreleased. After the release of the PV the band entered an undefined hiatus.
Ohmio's frontman, John, used this time to explore his electronic roots adopting the nickname "DJ Maquina Machine" and did various presentations around the coastline of the country. He also participated on the electrotrash duo know as Zaparapanda, along fewllow DJ and rock musician, DJ Kataco Kill. On 2011, the band began the preparation and production of their awaited second full-length, "Blister", writing new songs and starting a nation-wide tour to promote the album. Re-recording one of their most famous song, they released the single "Electrocardiograma", a 3-track single with the song of the same title and two remixes, one from DJ Bomby, and another one from Tremofreaks. The album was again pushed back, as time conflicts arouse as the band moved to the city of Puerto La Cruz, Anzoategui.
During this time, bass player Osiris decided to quit the band and concentrate on his studies. During the course of 2012, the band found a new bass player in Daniel, a native from Puerto La Cruz, and went into a 9-date nation-wide tour across Venezuela, starting and ending on Puerto La Cruz. Ohmio was voted as the band to open for the pre-show on the Puerto La Cruz date of the coming-back tour from famous venezuelan rock band, Zapato 3. Some time after that the band parted ways with long-time drummer, Coda. During this time Ohmio found a new drummer in the persona of Franco Carella, working with him on compiling some of the unreleased songs of the band on the album "B-Sides: Del lado de la Pintura" and toured around their local region promoting both the new compilation album and new drummer. Ending the year of 2013, Ohmio went forward and released the single for song "Magnético", this in preparation for the release of their next full-length album, "Origami", on 2014.
