Robert M Fenner was born in the alley behind Godfather's Pizza in Overland Park Kansas. Left for dead, RMF was raised by aphids, gnats and fieldmice (who had lose their way from the field). He survived solely on discarded anchioves and mozzarella that had stuck to the top of old pizza boxes. Eventually he learned how to crawl, so he crawled his way across the sea floor to London, England. He started recording under the moniker NURVUSS in 2006. Eventually he learned how to crawl, so he crawled his way across the sea floor to London, England.

He started recording under the moniker NURVUSS in 2006. In 2008, Nurvuss and DJ Harpomarx of Pharmaroxxx formed U.S Presidential anti-music group Robnoxious and played one gig. Pharmaroxxx has since relocated south of the border down Mexico way. In 2009 Viennese dominatrix The Feejee Mermaid joined on bass and vocals. She left to form House with Khimaira as a percussionist in 2010, alongside former and current members of May Kittens. In 2010, Nurvuss held the honor of being the opening act of Drop Dead Festival in Vilnius, Lithuania In 2011, Nurvuss' first official single, AMERICANMADE, was released on 7" by Misanthro-Pop.
