In the 90's, she settled permanently in France and performed Francofolies La Rochelle after being spotted by Catherine Lara. She then joined the school of Alice Dona and took courses in drama at Theatre National de Chaillot. The models produced with guitarist Jean-Pierre Taieb (Maurane, Patricia Kaas, Khadja Nin ...) eventually attracted a record label and Kôl yishama has been released in 1999. Mainly in Hebrew, suffused with spirituality and fragrance mystery. It was then that Maurane took the first part at the Olympia and, shortly after, she got the role of Sephora in the musical Les Dix Commandements by Pascal Obispo and Elie Chouraqui. In 2002, she released her second album, eponymous and sentimental. Many famous writers and composers such as Jean Fauque Boris Bergman(former accomplice of Alain Bashung), Lionel Florence and Daniel Lavoie have put their impact in creation of the album.
