The Super Fertile Sisters made a powerfull mix of punkrock, surf and ska and started performing on small and medium sized stages throughout the province of South Holland in the year 2001. In the year 2004, Sjors! started as the new bass player so Basket Cees could focus on his performance as the lead singer. In the year 2006, the name of the band was changed into The Doldrums. Sven Hostile left the band in 2009 to persue a different sound. He was followed up by Rolo in 2010. In 2010, the name of the band was changed to a Dutch name (Noodrem) after the decision to continue composing Dutch songs only.
Composing songs in Dutch makes the band more sincere. The new Dutch songs have been said to be "extremely catchy" by Dutch popportal 3voor12. Their energetic live shows are powerful and fast. Their motto: "If people are watching, they want to be entertained!" Read more on Last.fm.
