Nocturno Culto (born Ted Skjellum in 1972) is a Norwegian musician, best known as the primary vocalist, principal guitar player and sometime bassist (shared with drummer Fenriz) for influential black metal band, Darkthrone. In 1996-97, Ted had a brief stint with fellow Norwegian Black Metallers Satyricon, during which time he recorded their most famous song - Mother North. He is credited as Kveldulv on the resulting Nemesis Divina album. Ted also released a documentary titled The Misanthrope, containing an ambient soundtrack performed by Nocturno Culto himself. Whilst continuing with Darkthrone, Ted also participates in and tours with Sarke, a musical outlay for former Tulus and Khold drummer Sarke. Ted performs vocals and live guitar for Sarke, where promotional materials credit him as "the voice of Darkthrone". Read more on Last.fm.
