After one of the guitarists left we didn't replace him and we came to sound more straight again. When we started to play, the idea was to express the discontentment we felt related to the reality we live in, through the sound and lyrics. Our way of thinking was feeding our actions and consolidating our idea about how to act as a band, facing it as a vehicle of thoughts. Recording was quite unaccessible at that time, but between 1992 and 1995 we made 3 demo-tapes. Our first album, ‘Sick Society’ was recorded in 96 but it just came out in 98 when it was possible to be pressed.
As soon as we got the record we decided to travel, distributing it so. We booked some gigs in Santa Catarina and São Paulo and left the town. On the way we were making new contacts and we managed to book other gigs. We ended up making 12 states in 4 months. It was an intense experience which led us to plan another tour a year after, in Europe. In 1999 we stayed in Porto Alegre organizing and making part of gigs and other activities of the underground. In 2000 we left to Europe.
The tour was arranged like the former one in Brazil with contacts made on the way and it lasted 3 months. Then we experienced the reality, organization and actions of the Squats. We also recorded the 7” ‘Contraditória Condição’ when in Germany. Realizing that the 3 months were not enough we toured again in Europe in the following year for 5 months then.
We returned to Brazil in 2002. In 2003 we recorded the album ‘Suportar a dor’, LP on the Finnish label ‘Kämäset Levyt’ and CD by ourselves, ‘Ato Necessário’. In 2004 we finally toured in America Latina, finally because we’ve had this in mind since the first tour in 98. Soon after coming back from the tour we left to Europe for more 3 months of touring. This year, 2006 we recorded the album ‘Todos os disfarces’ soon available on LP and Cd versions self-released on ‘Ato Necessário’ . Members: We have changed few times, basically of bass players. We are Aline on the vocals, Zé on the guitar, Santiago on the drums and Lasse on the bass Read more on Last.fm.
