Three days after forming they won at Battle of the Bands (their first concert) at their local high school without a singer. Singer James Wallace joined the band in 2001 and No Cover put out the album titled Breakin Through which included 11 songs. Breakin Through quickly became the most popular song on the album and received limited radio play in the US and Germany. Only 500 copies were produced that landed in Best Buy, Amazon.com and were passed out to close family and friends.
Wallace left the band in 2003 and the band continued without a singer. In 2004 Nick started singing with the band. Tragically, Chris Reynolds died at age 19 on March 2, 2005. After Chris' death Mike left to Orlando Florida to attend Full Sail College.
He graduated in 2006 with a Recording Arts and Engineering Degree and became Pro Tools Certified in both music and post production. Following Mike's graduation he started a music store and recording studio named Second Nature Music in Idaho where the band has done most of their tracking. Since then all three brothers have graduated from College with Bachelor degrees in Communications. Nick graduated at age 18 with his Bachelor Degree.
No Cover toured the middle east including the Iraqi Border, Israel, the West Bank, Jordan, and Egypt in November 2007 to support their latest album Peace and Quiet. They currently have radio play in Germany, Japan, and Australia. The band's main influences are The Beatles, Billy Joel, Elton John, The Rolling Stones, Guns N' Roses and Oasis. No Cover has toured the Middle East, Asia, Europe, and America.
Trivia: -Nick has been a strict vegetarian since age 4 -Tim was featured in a 2007 MasterCard Christmas commercial in London Heathrow Airport that aired in the US and Europe with his girlfriend Paula Silinger -Tim recently finished shooting Charm School with Sharon Osbourne as the drummer which will air on Vh1 Fall 2008 -Tim and Nick have each flown over 1 million miles on United Airlines -Nick graduated from College with a Bachelor Degree in Communications at age 18 Read more on Last.fm.
